I'm very excited to announce a number of recent changes that have taken place at Eaton-Cambridge.
For the past 20 years or so, I've owned and operated Eaton-Cambridge as a solo practitioner. With a desire to grow the firm and enhance the long-term benefits for our clients, I thought about bringing on a partner. After careful consideration over several years, I asked Marc Giannone to become my business partner.
Marc joined me four years ago after having built a successful financial advisory practice of his own at Merrill Lynch. His transition to Eaton-Cambridge allowed him to serve his existing clients better by welcoming them into the Eaton-Cambridge family. He also brought significant value to my clients with his expertise and passion for helping families make wise life and money decisions. His skills and knowledge are unparalleled in the field of retirement income planning and charitable gifting strategies.
Since then, Marc has helped the firm grow to a whole new level, providing comprehensive, exemplary service to our clients. I'm honored to call Marc my friend and business partner. Many of you have already met Marc, have worked with him extensively and can attest to his expertise and trustworthiness. For those of you who haven't met Marc, I'm eager to introduce you.
I have no plans to retire, as you might expect. Why would I when I love what I do! But I also love the fact that I can now go on vacation or take a few days away with Ginger, resting assured that our clients will be served with the same level of professionalism and expertise from Marc that they've come to expect in working with me.
That said, please help me in welcoming Marc as my business partner at Eaton-Cambridge. Feel free to call, email or stop by the office to get to know Marc further or to congratulate him. We're excited to continue serving you and your loved ones for decades to come, and Marc will play a significant role in making that happen.
Second, we're excited to welcome Damian Goodhand to the team as our Client Services Manager. Damian joins us after a successful career at Charles Schwab where he served as a client services associate, where he had a reputation for providing the highest level of client service. Damian will be the main point of contact for administrative issues, including check requests, transfers, account openings, online access, and more. It's a big job, but with Damian's laser-like attention to detail and world-class client service experience, we are excited for our clients to experience a whole new level of white-glove service.
Last but not least, we're excited to welcome Joe Harding, CPA, to the team. Joe will be helping develop and grow our tax services alongside Terri and Christine. Joe has joined us from PricewaterhouseCoopers, the international accounting consulting firm. Our comprehensive approach, which includes integrating tax, financial, and investment planning, make Joe's expertise and experience a great asset to our team and clients.
These three staffing additions are a reflection of our consistent growth and relentless commitment to make sure our clients receive only the best advice and guidance in meeting their goals. Our mission to "partner with successful individuals and families to build a bright and confident financial future" is something we look to extend to others like you. As you know, we only work with individuals to whom we feel we can bring significant value and support, and with whom we enjoy working. If you have someone in mind who would benefit from an introduction to us, we'd be honored for an opportunity to earn their business. As always, we thank you for being a part of the Eaton-Cambridge family. Please connect with us anytime, and let us know if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you soon.
